Looking for an experienced and dedicated wedding photographer in Texas?  Hi, I'm Brandy Gray, owner and lead photographer at Firefly Photography. This name was fitting because in my art I play with light, capture fleeting moments and take people back to a time they remember with joy through the images I create. I am a business owner, a continuing learner, an encourager, a director, an editor, a curator, but the best part...a visual storyteller who believes in the amazing blessing of God giving us people in our lives to stand beside us long after the aisle.

about the artist

Even after 14years of being behind the camera, I am still always humbled and honored to be chosen to preserve memories. I look on my wall at 100 year old images that have been passed down in my family and imagine how much connection will be created over the generations from my work. I love connecting with my clients through a shared passion for living in Texas - the history of Gruene Hall, the clear water of the Guadalupe River, the taste of Fredericksburg peaches, Americana music paired with a glass of wine in Dripping Springs, a day at the lake in the piney woods of East Texas or a Waco B&B with sweet tea and rocking chairs.  My associates and I I enjoy traveling to destinations across the state to celebrate our clients.  I believe in seeking beauty in all things, sharing inspirational stories and telling yours through this art.

More than one of the top WEDDING photographers in Texas

I am incredibly proud to have this great group as a part of my team. Each one has been a blessing to know as a person and to trust with representing the business I began building years ago from scratch.

What is an associate photographer?
An associate photographer works as the lead shooter on the wedding day with the assignment to match the primary photographer's established style. My associates have worked along-side me and know what I expect in caring for clients as well as in image delivery. I am always thrilled to see the creative, candid and sentimental moments they capture when I receive the gallery. Before the wedding, client communication and scheduling is directly with me, then before the event, we collaborate to prepare with information provided by the couple and any coordinators involved. During the wedding, they are using skills that I have trained and professional equipment equivalent to what I use. After the wedding, my associate sends me the raw files which I then edit to ensure consistency with my style before delivering the gallery. I also do all album design. The option of an associate photographer offers clients a chance to have beautiful photos and a great experience if I am already booked for their date or a price that fits with their budget if my services do not.

I first met Chloe and her husband as a videography team. We quickly connected as we shared how our faith motivates us to serve others. She is excellent at communicating well with couples, making them feel comfortable in posing and keeping the day stress-free.

MEET CHLOE

Halle is a fantastic content creator, videographer, photographer and my huge help with marketing. She is thoughtful, encouraging and has great attention to detail.

MEET HALLE

If you like a little touch of cinematic flare to your gallery, Josie is your girl. She is a nurse, a military wife and an asset to my team. Josie is fun, creative and great at directing as well as elevating details.

MEET JOSIE

When she is not at college or following her passion for wildlife photography in the wetlands or abroad, Allison is my go-to second photographer. She knows just what I need before I even say it, adds great perspectives and approaches each wedding (30+ at this point) with such professionalism. Bonus…I am proud to say that she’s my daughter.

MEET ALLISON

I had the privilege of meeting Candace while on a photography trip in Europe and loved her personality. She is not only full of life and a fellow Aggie, but great at capturing the candid moments and keeping everything running on time on wedding days. You may meet her while she is representing Firefly Photography at various events and will feel like you’ve known her for years.

MEET CANDACE

Jonathan and Chloe are my first recommendation for video. I absolutely treasure the video they created for my wedding. As a husband and wife team, they achieve thorough coverage, are super sweet to work with and deliver excellent quality. We have enjoyed working side by side for countless weddings. If you are interested in photo and video, I highly recommend Wellman Productions.

When do I need a second shooter?
Do you have a large bridal party, lots of details or strongly prioritize candid shots? Is your ceremony one with a balcony that you want your entrance captured from above as well as in front of you? Will the groomsmen be getting ready off-site or is everything spread out? Will your ceremony and reception be at two different locations without much gap in time in between? If you answered yes to any of these, having a second shooter may be my recommendation. I deliver approximately 700 images when working solo, but with a second, I edit their work alongside mine to make sure that you have all of the best images from both. This option can be added to any package.
